The Stone's Throw Cottage is a 1940's stone cottage, built by Lester Hammond. It currently serves as a short term rental. It was originally about 600 square feet, with one bedroom and one bathroom (it now has an additional bedroom, bathroom and laundry room. It's in a part of Bowman where Hammond built at least 7 stone houses, and is the only one "open to the public" (currently through Airbnb). It's got all the original charm, with a few modern updates, and is cozy, charming, and comfortable. If you're a fan of the Rosehill Cottage in the movie The Holiday, you'll love the Stone's Throw Cottage. Easy to access, the cottage would make a wonderful film set or location.
